About List-Queue

What is List-Queue?

Figuring out your priorities for the day is not always easy.

List-Queue is a nifty thinking tool for Mac OS X that makes the task of ranking or prioritizing a list, your to-do list for example, rational, quick, and fun. The application takes the user through a process where he or she is able to rank just two items from a list at a time, on the principle that it’s easier to make a number of little decisions than confront an overloaded list with disparate items all at once. After the user compares each item with every other item on the list, the program tabulates the results.

Unlike other to-do list programs, which use abstract and not very helpful labels, such as "very important," to assign priorities, List-Queue enables the user to determine a task's priority in the context of what else is on the list. The result is a to-do list for the real world, one that is actually helpful when facing the day's tasks and events.

Use List-Queue to supercharge your daily list and tackle your work-day with greater confidence, less anxiety, and increased productivity.

What are the benefits of using List-Queue?

If you are ever intimidated by your own to-do list, the List-Queue process helps tame a menacing list by transforming a frightening jumble of tasks into a thoughtfully prioritized, results-oriented list of the important and not-so-important.

With List-Queue it's easier to focus confidently on one task at a time and worry less about the other items competing for your attention.

Finally, it's worth mentioning that using List-Queue generates an amusing feeling of mystery: What will be the cumulative result of one's individual ranking decisions? And then, when the cumulative result is revealed, in the form of the ranked list, the user smiles and thinks, "Yes, this is a good plan."
